RECOMMENDED: As its name suggests - this hotel is making a statement. It is nouveau and very slick and fashionable. It is being well received by customers even though it is a little from the centre of Amsteram. The pool and sauna probably help. This hotel is located close to the centre of Amsterdam, at the top of the Overtoom, with its trendy bars and cafes. A 25 minute walk will bring you to the Leidseplein and a tram takes 5 minutes.

Yes rooms are small but they are modern bright and very comfortable and the hotel is judged modern welcoming and all at a great price. 

The Luxer hotel is tucked away in a narrow road right next to the Red Light District and opposite the central station. Bedrooms are all in very good condition and all of them have air conditioning. This is an excellent standard hotel in the heart of Amsterdam and thus it appears in the top 25% Tripadvisor Amsterdam Hotels
